College will close for two weeks
This message was sent to students and employees.
Dear Montco Family,
I want to provide a new update to you on the evolving 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
Earlier this afternoon, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced that all Montgomery County schools (as well as community centers, gyms and entertainment venues) will close for two weeks, starting tomorrow, March 13th through March 29th.
Accordingly the College’s physical locations will not be accessible to students, employees, and community members. This includes cancellation of the Board of Trustees meeting scheduled for Monday, March 16th.
To support our students and their successes, certain functions of the college will continue to operate remotely.
For our employees, vice presidents will be updating you on expectations during the closure.
For our students, as a reminder online services remain available.
Please continue to visit mc3.edu/coronavirus for updates.
Be safe and I look forward to welcoming everyone back to campus.
Sincerely,
Dr. Victoria L. Bastecki-Perez
Interim President and Provost
