LGBTQ+ Resources

  • Sexuality and Gender Acceptance (SAGA) Community Center – an interfaith and no-faith affirming space for all sexes, genders, sexualities, and allies that provides a community building, support. activities, education, and advocacy for the local community.
  • Trans Lifeline – Trans Lifeline connects trans people to the community, support, and resources they need to survive and thrive. Call 877-565-8860.
  • Montgomery County LGBTQ+ Health and Support – provides local resources and information pertaining to a number of healthcare priorities for LGBTQ+ people.
  • Montgomery County LGBTQ+ Spiritual and Social Support – provides local groups and organizations that organize, host, and facilitate a number of activities and events designed to engage local LGBTQ+ individuals of all ages and build supportive communities for everyone.

  • Community Action Development Commission (CADCOM)
  • Montgomery County Community Connections – a 'Navicate' can point you in the right direction, and even refer you to a variety of resources based on need
  • Mitzvah Circle – offers assistance in providing items that are not covered by government assistance, including clothing, diapers, new strollers and car seats, toiletries, household items and other necessities.
  • PA Health Access Network (PHAN) – call 877-570-3642 to be connected with a trained staff member who can provide free assistance in understanding, applying for, and enrolling in health coverage, as well as troubleshooting problems.

  • Tower Health Urgent Care (THUC) – provides coordinated and comprehensive exams for school, camp, sports, and pre-employment, as well as professional driver exams from our licensed, certified medical examiners with the Department of Transportation (DOT).
