The Pottstown Area Artists Guild (PAAG) is thrilled to announce its upcoming Annual Artist Membership Show, showcasing inspiring artists from across the region. It's the right time to enjoy and appreciate the blooming of the arts in Pottstown.
The Montco Cultural Center hosts the exhibition Nov. 2 through Nov.20 beginning with an opening reception Friday, Oct. 30 from 5 - 7 p.m. in the North Hall Gallery, 16 E. High St., Pottstown, 19464. Free parking is available in the College's lot at 101 College Drive. The event is free and open to all.
To help celebrate the Halloween season, guests are invited to dress as their favorite artist or work of art. The event will include food, live music and fun.
“Visitors to the exhibit can expect a dynamic display of fine art,” said Sabah Farooq, PAAG show chair, with more than 70 pieces “spanning multiple mediums, including oils, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, photography, ceramics and more.”
In addition to the Oct. 30 reception, there will be an event “Gallery Talk” Saturday, Nov. 14 from 2 - 4 p.m. The event will feature five artists speaking for five minutes about their art, their journey and their passion.
The Pottstown Area Artists Guild is a dedicated community of artists and art supporters committed to promoting the visual arts and enriching the cultural landscape of the Pottstown region through its exhibitions and community outreach.
North Hall Gallery on the Pottstown Campus is free and open to the community Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Gallery is closed Saturday and Sunday and on holidays. View the College Calendar for details.
