Montgomery County Community College has created a new program, the College Connection Experience (CCE), to help first-time college students get started, stay the course and achieve their goals.

Offered at MCCC’s West Campus in Pottstown and supported by a Title III grant from the U.S. Department of Education, CCE is an immersive, supportive academic pathway program that connects students to a full array of resources and experiences offered at the College. Success coaches will work closely with students throughout the program and will facilitate academic, career and financial advising and support.

To get started, students may take up to two free courses – Strategies for College Success and English 011. Additionally, loaner laptops and textbooks are available.

CCE is offered to all first-time college students who are planning to major in Liberal Studies, Business Administration, Accounting and Management associate degree programs at the Pottstown campus. The first cohort of students will start online on Sept. 2 and is limited to 24 students. The next cohort will start in the summer of 2021.

Registration is open now.
