Parkhouse Roof Replacement Project
Notice is hereby given that the Montgomery County Community College will accept sealed proposals online for the Parkhouse Roof Replacement Project (Bid #2 – FY23/24). The project includes the replacement of approximately 60,000 square feet of roofing at Parkhouse Hall on the campus of the Montgomery County Community College. The existing EPDM roof is to be removed to the deck with a new insulated EPDM roof system installed. New sheet metal work shall be installed, and the existing roof drains are to be removed and replaced. Alternate bids include a roof membrane material upgrade and the installation of new sheet metal through-wall flashings at masonry rising walls to raise the roof wall flashing height

Security Camera Electrical & Data Infrastructure Project Phase II
The College will receive sealed bids for the Security Camera Electrical & Data Infrastructure Project Phase II (Bid# 25 FY18/19).
This project consists of the installation of cameras, IT infrastructure, and related equipment, to existing light poles in four parking lots. The project includes both contractor-supplied and owner-supplied equipment, electrical infrastructure and IT infrastructure. The electrical and IT infrastructure includes, but is not limited to, work in four existing buildings adjacent to each parking lot, trenching and conduit placement from designated buildings to all light poles scheduled to receive cameras, installation of new outdoor equipment enclosures, supporting infrastructure for power panels and data equipment, installation of new ups units, installation of protective bollards at all new equipment enclosures, testing of new IT equipment and infrastructure, and a two year maintenance contract for exterior data boxes.

Notice is hereby given that the Montgomery County Community College will accept sealed proposals online for Science Center Renovations, Project 7868.18. A lump sum bid is requested for each of the following separate contracts: General, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection trades.

Primary bidders shall secure a set of bidding documents for complete Architectural, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Electrical drawings and specifications from PennBid™. Notice is hereby given that Montgomery County Community College will accept sealed proposals online for Traffic Signal Installation at the Intersection of Morris Road and Montgomery County Community College within Whitpain Township. Bids will be accepted until 11 a.m., December 6, 2018, via Public Purchase. Questions must be submitted via Public Purchase by November 28, 2018 at 5 p.m. Plans and specifications are available online at no charge via Public Purchase.
Bids are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. The College reserves the right to waive any informalities or to refuse any or all of the bids. This project must comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
Proposers must be submitted on forms included in the bidding documents and must be accompanied by the Non-Collusion Affidavit and the Owner’s Certification of Responsible Contractor Status form in accordance with the Instructions to Proposers.
All bidders are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with 67 PA Code Chapter 457, Regulations Governing Pre-qualification of Prospective Bidders and PennDOT Form 408, latest revision, Section 102. Subcontractors must pre-qualify in the same manner, if listed in the proposal or if they subsequently undertake the partial or total construction of one or more items of work. All bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified prime contractors and include staffs who are IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level II certified to perform construction of traffic signals.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof or items therein and to waive informalities and/or technicalities, as it deems best to protect its interest.
