Montco's Office of Institutional Research, Effectiveness, & Planning (IREP) focuses on the meaningful use of assessment to provide information, reflection, consultation, data analyses, and reporting in support of overall institutional effectiveness. IREP upholds and strengthens the College's evidence-based improvement processes, decision-making, planning, and implementation. As a College, we self-evaluate to measure outcomes and achievement related to the Mission, Vision, Statement of Values, and Equity Statement as well as the College’s Strategic Plan.
Institutional Research, Effectiveness, and Planning supports:
- Administrative program review
- Departmental and College-wide planning
- Institutional and specialized accreditation
- Operational and strategic planning
- Outcomes assessment (also referred to as evaluation assessment)
Our team seeks to:
- Uphold the College’s Mission, Vision, Statement of Values, and Equity Statement by establishing a regular cycle of assessment which evaluates the experiences of students, employees, and the College community
- Champion accountability for demonstrating achievement of the College’s goals and outcomes
- Meet the needs of stakeholders and advocate for resources
- Monitor and track the College’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Promote a cycle of continuous improvement and innovation
- Work closely and collaboratively with Business Intelligence and Data Analytics to access and use data
