Net Cost of Attendance

Understanding the cost of attending Montgomery County Community College is important. There are direct costs, such as tuition and fees that are paid to the College, and indirect costs that may be incurred by the student as a result of attending college.  The combination of direct and indirect costs comprise the cost of attendance used to determine eligibility for financial aid funding and can be used by students and their families to plan their finances. Your total financial aid package cannot exceed the cost of attendance. Awards that make up a financial aid package include grants, scholarships, loans, work-study, and scholarships from private organizations.

After you complete the FAFSA and financial aid requirements, net cost of attendance (costs minus scholarships and grants) will be available on your financial aid offer available on self-service via Montco Connect.  The current award year’s cost of attendance is available on our Cost of Attendance page. An estimate of the total cost of attendance for future award years for all degree programs, including Massage Therapy and the Police Academy, is provided on the following pages:

Financial Aid Renewal

In rare instances, some Montco institutional financial aid grants or scholarships are renewable over multiple years. If an awarded grant or scholarship is renewable, it will be noted on your financial aid offer.
