Montgomery County Community College invites the community to visit its Fine Arts Center Gallery at the Blue Bell Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, to enjoy the diverse display of artwork created by its talented students now through April 28.

MCCC’s 56th Annual Student Art Exhibition opened April 11 with an artist reception and awards ceremony. More than 130 pieces of artwork, including oil paintings, ceramics, digital photography, pencil sketches, and other media, fill the gallery walls and display tables.

Juliana Cutrona"This is the largest exhibition of student artwork that we’ve shown since the onset of the pandemic, and it’s wonderful to see our students making such a huge variety of work again,” said Patrick Rodgers, the College’s Galleries Director. “More importantly, this show is about students interacting with each other and with viewers around their work. They learn so much from exhibiting it and getting feedback.  And we always encourage visitors to think about supporting our student artists by purchasing their work, as well.”

This year’s juror was Sierra Conniff, Admissions Counselor at Moore College of Art & Design, which has a partnership transfer agreement with MCCC that allows students to transfer seamlessly and continue their education at Moore.

Conniff selected several pieces of artwork for special recognition, including:
