American Red Cross to hold community blood drives at MCCC

Montgomery County Community College will host four American Red Cross blood drives during January.

The American Red Cross will be holding four community blood drives at Montgomery County Community College this month.

In Pottstown, blood drives will be held Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 20 and 21, from 1 to 6 p.m. at MCCC’s Pottstown Campus in the South Hall Community Room, 101 College Drive, Pottstown.

In Blue Bell, blood drives will be held Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 30 and 31, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at MCCC’s Blue Bell Campus in College Hall, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell.

The Red Cross recommends scheduling an appointment by visiting its website. Donors will receive a coupon from the American Red Cross for a free medium Dunkin’ hot coffee and a classic donut.

American Red Cross partnerIn addition, the Red Cross in partnership with the NFL is offering a special thank you to donors who are helping during this critical time. Donors who give between Jan. 1-31, 2021, will automatically be entered to win two tickets to next year’s 2022 Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles.

As an extra thank you from the Red Cross and NFL, donors who give from Jan. 1-20, 2021, also will be entered automatically to win the Big Game at Home package for this year, including a 65-inch television and a $500 gift card.
