The Montgomery County Community College Theater Arts Program and West End Student Theater will present “A Bright New Boise” by Samuel D. Hunter at the College’s South Hall Community Room, West Campus, 101 College Drive, Pottstown.

Directed by MCCC instructor and Theatre Department advisor Rob Heller, “A Bright New Boise” explores themes of family, religion and responsibility through the backdrop of the minimum-wage working class. In the chaos of small business, these lost souls of the Hobby Lobby confront an unyielding world through the beige-tinted impossibility of modern faith. The production contains adult language and themes.

The cast of “A Bright New Boise” includes Michael Thornton as Will, Michaela Sloan as Pauline, Joshua Williams as Alex, Amanda Ackerman as Anna, Logan Salas as Leroy, Shawn Bell as Hobby Lobby TV Person 1, and Chris Schlosman as Hobby Lobby TV Person 2.

The production team includes Isabelle Humes, Derek Peterson, Emma Burrus, Ben Mocarski, Hailey Ellwanger, Kyree Rubendall, Michael Thornton, Lydia Klementisz, John Falcone, Allison Munsey and Jason Levengood.

Performances will be held Nov. 21-23 at 7 p.m., with a special afternoon performance, Nov. 22 at 12:30 p.m. General Admission is $10, and $5 for students and seniors. Purchase your tickets today.
