With the collaboration of One Village Coffee and the Culinary Arts Institute, we offer an exciting 3-hour class about specialty coffees. Students will learn everything from how coffee is grown and sourced to the roasting and brewing process. You will have an understanding of the fundamentals of brewing process, what beans to buy, why grinding and water temperature are important, and what brewing devices are available in the market. Moreover, we will sample coffees from around the world, comparing and contrasting their flavor profiles. You will walk away with a deeper understanding of specialty coffee, why it is important, and how the process from farm to brewing matters in making a great tasting cup!
