Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for Healthcare Professionals (ESW 246)

The Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for the Healthcare Professional course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen; use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). It is intended for individuals who provide healthcare to clients in a wide variety of venues. This two- week course includes discussion of healthy heart living and one mandatory on-campus day for skills completion as per AHA 2015 Guidelines BLS course. This course is subject to a course fee.
