CNC Machine Operator- Level 2 (BICST 6102)

CNC Machine Operator- Level 2 will build on the foundational skills and safety knowledge of the Level 1 Course, including reading of blueprints and enhancing measuring skills. Students will have the opportunity to refine operating and set-up skills, with an introduction to manually creating CNC programs on both mills and lathes. This refined hands-on training program prepares students for entry-level positions within manufacturing and precision machining industries. The course is aligned to NIMS Machining standards.

Prerequisites

The following courses must be taken prior to this course
CNC Machine Operator - Level 1 (or instructor permission based on previous experience)
