Montco Resources for Adult Learners:
Online Learning
Prior Learning Assessment (PLA)
Earn credits from work and life experience! As an adult learner, you may be able to earn credits for knowledge that you've acquired outside the college classroom. Through our PLA program, we can determine whether certain courses can be waived, saving you time and money. We also can award credits for courses in which you can demonstrate your knowledge of the material. Learn more at mc3.edu/PLA.
4-Year Transfer Opportunities
Like many of our students, you may plan to start your college education at Montco with the intention of transferring to a four-year school. By starting here, you can save thousands of dollars in tuition while still receiving a top-notch education.
To help ease the transfer process, Montco has agreements with more than 30 Pennsylvania, four-year colleges and universities including Alvernia University, Chestnut Hill College, Peirce College and Wilmington University. We also host Transfer Fairs and Partner Transfer Days to help connect you with four-year college and university representatives.
