Donald Lyons

Chair of the Board of Trustees

Donald Lyons has served on the Montgomery County Community College Board of Trustee’s since 2021 and currently leads the Board as Chair. Donald is a financial professional with over 20 years of experience in wealth management and financial planning. Currently Donald is a Senior Vice President & Wealth Director for Bryn Mawr Trust. In his role Donald leads a team of cross functional wealth professionals which includes Wealth & Trust Advisors and Investment Advisors. Prior to joining Bryn Mawr Trust Donald worked for several financial institutions including but not limited to J.P. Morgan Private Bank, Fidelity Investments and PNC Wealth Management.

Donald is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. His other professional certification includes National Social Security Advisor®. He holds an MBA from Pennsylvania State University and a BA from Temple University’s Fox School Of Business.

Donald serves on the board of several charitable and nonprofit organizations including Treasurer for Temple University’s Fox School of Business Alumni board, Trustee for the USA Boxing Foundation and Vice President of North Penn Education Foundation.

Donald lives in Montgomery County with his wife and three sons. Donald is an avid fan of combat sports and trains in both Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Brown Belt) and Boxing (US Amateur Master Boxer).
