Elaine Loughnane
Flight Facilitator
Elaine is a Facilitator at the Challenger Learning Center. Elaine has 20 years experience in the field of education. She has taught various grades and subjects from PreK to 6th grade.
She first became involved in STEM education while teaching at a STEM summer enrichment program. After teaching there for several summers, she eventually became the director of the program. She brought her growing passion for STEM education to her most recent school by initiating a STEM club for 5th through 8th grade students. She also served as a chairperson for several STEM Fairs as well as numerous Science Fair competitions at her previous school. Elaine has a BA degree from Millersville University. She holds several teaching certifications, including one in Middle Level Science (grades 6-9). Elaine is thrilled to be sharing her passion for STEM education with students at the Challenger Learning Center.
