Music Assistant Professor, Sound Recording and Music Technology Program Coordinator
Michael Kelly holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Music Theory and Composition from the State University of New York at Fredonia School of Music, where he was the recipient of the Victoria Bohlen Memorial Award for excellence in composition. He has been writing, recording, teaching and performing in New York City since 1984. Additionally, he wrote and recorded professionally with the Ronnie Gent Band, the Grip Weeds and Wide Right. Michael also plays the double bass with the Independence Sinfonia and the Orchestra Society of Philadelphia.
