Welcome to Academic Innovation at Montco!
Dr. Rosann Bar
Dean of Academic Innovation
We are pleased to offer exciting and unique learning opportunities for students of all ages. Our youth engagement programs feature summer camps such as the wildly popular Janet’s Planets, and our signature Montco 360 program, where selected eighth grade middle school students can experience hands-on STEM learning experiences while also gaining essential skills in such as critical thinking and communication. Our Drone Academy, spotlighting drone soccer, is set to further enhance our innovative STEM offerings.
Students wanting to learn more about space or corporations interested in team building can fly one of our Challenger Center simulated space missions, either in person or virtually. Classroom learning is further enhanced through our Science on a Sphere (SOS) global display system that can access over 600 datasets, a valuable tool in fostering experiential learning about the Earth and the environment.
For our high school students, our dual enrollment programs map out pathways that enable them to complete college credits toward a Liberal Studies degree while still in high school. Whether you are upscaling within your current profession or seeking a career change, our Department of Workforce Development provides training and credentialing driven by industry demand in the fields of business, healthcare, information technology, and manufacturing. We also offer on-site customized training for companies and an apprenticeship in information technology.
With our holistic approach to education, we sponsor several educational partnerships including Gateway to College, POWER, TRIO/Upward Bound, ACT101, and KEYS. We look forward to supporting you in your educational journey.
