Dual Admissions

Montgomery County Community College’s dual admissions agreements guarantee you admission to one of our partner four-year schools.

You must have a completed associate’s degree with a minimum grade point average in order to qualify for the benefits of dual admissions. (Some institutions limit dual admissions to Associate in Arts and Associate in Science students only.)

Additionally, most schools require you to submit a non-binding letter of intent before completing 30 credits, which shows interest in the school’s dual admissions agreement.

Beyond guaranteed admissions, the benefits of dual admissions (at most institutions) include:

  • Waiver of application fee
  • Condensed application
  • Merit-based scholarships
