Community is our middle name. Beyond educating students on our two campuses and off-site locations, Montgomery County Community College actively invites community engagement. We host more than 60 community sponsored forums each year including the 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk, the Montgomery County Kennel Club and the Lance Armstrong Livestrong Challenge.
College sponsored events that are open to the public include our annual Community Day, our fall Writers' Conference on our Central Campus in Blue Bell and the Schuylkill River Heritage Festival on our West Campus in Pottstown.
On open community nights, we invite you to do some star gazing through the telescope in our new observatory in our Advanced Technology Center. We provide many non-credit enrichment classes for teenagers through seniors. The College houses art galleries at both our Pottstown and Blue Bell locations featuring 10 different exhibits per year. Our Lively Arts Series bring many fine arts performances from across the country–music, film and theater–to our campuses for the enrichment of the entire community. The Brendlinger college library in Blue Bell and the West Campus Library in Pottstown are excellent resources that are open to the community as well.
We welcome your presence at the College. If your community organization is interested in hosting an event on one of our campuses, please submit a facilities request form. Links for campus forms are listed below.
