Machinist-CNC (Computer Numeric Control) Operator Training

Program snapshot: Become a skilled technician using computer technology to produce metal, wood and plastic components. You will learn blueprint reading, math, and programming. The average wage for these operators is $23 per hour. There are over 1,000 jobs in the county and nationwide growth is projected in this profession.

Program snapshot: This training prepares you for entry level employment in a metals manufacturing operation. Montgomery County has 43,000 manufacturing jobs and 2.2% growth is expected over the next 5 years. This course was developed by the industry to create a pipeline into a manufacturing apprentice programming.
