Bridge to Employment Birthday Bash

Bridge to Employment Birthday BashMontgomery County Community College and nearly 60 students from Phoenixville Area and Wissahickon High Schools recently helped Johnson & Johnson celebrate the 25th birthday of its Bridge to Employment program with cake and community service at MCCC.

Students made more than 30 blankest for the Johnson & Johnson One Child, On Blanket initiative, which donates the blankets for disaster relief.

Launched in 1992, Bridge to Employment is a Johnson & Johnson initiative aimed to help high school students explore careers in the health care sector and prepare for college. MCCC is a partner with Johnson & Johnson on the initiative and manages the program with Phoenixville and Wissahickon High Schools. The College is launching a new Bridge to Employment partnership with Janssen Pharmeceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson and Norristown Area High School in fall 2017.
