Time to check your health!
Continuing the long tradition of promoting healthy living, Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, the Rotary Club of Blue Bell and Montgomery County Community College will host the 17th annual Montgomery County Wellness Expo on Saturday, April 8, from 9 a.m. to noon.
The free event takes place in College Hall, and includes health screenings, educational information, wellness activities and giveaways. Dr. Val Arkoosh, Chair, Montgomery County Board of Commissioners and Montgomery County Board of Commissioner Joe Gale will open the Expo.
Health Checks conducted by healthcare professionals from Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and feature reduced-cost blood tests. Health Checks are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and pre-registration is encouraged.
Health Checks include:
- 26-Panel Blood Screening $39 ($200 value). Screen for anemia/ white blood cell count, liver/kidney function, cholesterol levels and more...
- Hemoglobin A1C $29
- PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) test for men $29
- Blood tests
In addition to Health Checks, a variety of free screenings and demonstrations are offered by Einstein Montgomery healthcare professionals, including: blood pressure, blood sugar, body fat, bone density, breast health, colon cancer, hearing, pulmonary function, skin cancer, vision assessments, and more.
