April 2, 2014, Blue Bell/Pottstown, Pa.—Montgomery County Community College’s Financial Aid office is hosting workshops help high school juniors and seniors and their parents understand the financial aid process.
Spring workshops will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 10 in College Hall room 144 at MCCC’s Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, and on Tuesday, April 22 in the South Hall Community Room at MCCC’s West Campus, 101 College Drive, Pottstown. Additional workshops will also be held this summer on July 9 (Blue Bell) and July 16 (Pottstown).

The workshops are free and are open to the community, regardless of what institutions students plan on attending after graduating from high school.
Expert panelists from a variety of local colleges and universities will address topics that include explaining the types of financial aid available, meeting the cost of attending college, interpreting award letters, and more. Each workshop will also include time for questions and answers.
